The ASEAC Rules are based on the neutral Arbitration Rules by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

The ASEAC Rules are characterized by an international spirit and ensure an institutional arbitral process that is, due to minor adjustments, inter alia compliant with Chinese law.
